This blog is a public development diary about a table top game my friend and I are creating. The title of the game is GATE and is meant to educate players about the culture and military of ancient societies, specifically Greek, Egyptians, Chinese, and Vikings. The game requires four players to use strategy as they collect and manage resources (tokens and cards) to best their opponents. So far the game has been several weeks in development, with weekly meetings chronicling our progress through the development progress. Hopefully this blog will be updated nearly weekly as we improve our game. As such, this blog's second entry will be an excerpt of our first meeting. Stay tune as we continue this project!
